The HPI has commenced production on BP's Macondo well in the Gulf of Mexico, joining the Q4000 semisubmersible platform in safely transporting hydrocarboms to the surface for disposal.  HPI is currently producing via kill lines on the BOP, and will switch to the larger well cap once the system is in place.
